For as long as I can remember, I have been working with community members on issues that are dear to our hearts. These issues include quality of life, public safety, street beautification, small business advocacy, education, and jobs.

We have already made strong progress in addressing these issues. We partnered with district-wide neighborhoods to voice our concerns and bring about changes that benefited our community through educational workshops and activism. Working together, we have expanded green spaces, and diversified development to include the interests of all our community members. We have expanded community pocket gardens and presented cultural programs for education and appreciation.

I have seen many positive changes in our neighborhoods, and it all has come through the commitment and hard work of all of you. We can continue building the future of our community through creative cultural modes and technological platforms that continue to empower the engine that sustains the growth of all our constituencies.
